Where is it?: Browns Road, Monarto is c. 4.5 km NE of Callington off the Princess Highway.

Landscape Management Region: Murraylands and Riverland

Habitat: Much of the habitat was been planted with a wide range of species not necessarily endemic as part of the Monarto development in the 1970’s. There is still some of the original vegetation in parts such as Drooping Sheoak (Allocasuarina verticillata) and Golden Wattle (Acacia pycnantha).

Total Species Recorded to Date: 101 (non-passerines 38, passerines 63)

Common Species: Peaceful Dove, Common Bronzewing, Red Wattlebird, Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater, Yellow-rumped Thornbill, Grey Shrikethrush

Less Common Species:  Pied Honeyeater, Tawny-crowned Honeyeater, Pied Honeyeater, Pied Butcherbird, Black-faced Cuckooshrike, Crested Bellbird
