Andrew Black receives the J.N. Hobbs Medal from BirdLife Australia, for his contributions to Australian Amateur Ornithology .

Long time Birds SA member and a former past president of Birds SA, Dr Andrew Black received the highly esteemed J. N. Hobbs Medal for his many years of scientific research to Australian Amateur Ornithology from the BirdLife Australia’s president John Barkla at the Birds SA ‘Members Night’ General meeting on the 30th November 2018. Over 120 Birds SA members were present and congratulated Andrews fantastic achievement and dedication to scientific research and conservation of Australian Birds.
