Talbot Reserve, Rockleigh & Bushland Conservation 74km

FIELD TRIP: Birds SA

EXCURSION TERRAIN DIFFICULTY: Easy

Meet at 8.30am at Talbot Reserve. Follow the South
Eastern Freeway and take the exit north towards
Monarto. Cross Old Princes Highway and follow
Schenscher Road for 5 km. Fork right into Pallamana
Road, then left onto Reedy Creek Road. Continue to the
junction with Blackheath Road, turn left onto Blackheath
Road and travel about 2.5 km to Talbot Reserve. This is
only a small area, so the plan is to move onto Bushland
Conservation to complete the morning’s birding. It may
be wet underfoot. Choose footwear wisely! Attendees
are invited to visit the Bansemer property after the walk
