Saturday 13 June: Barossa Goldfields (Moderate) (MLR) 60kms. Meet at 8.30am at Bowden Cottage on the corner of Allandale Road and Para Wirra Road at the top end of Para Wirra Conservation Park. There is a carpark on Allandale Road near the corner and some parking in front of the Cottage. There is a toilet and some picnic tables at the Cottage and we will explore the Phoenix trail (about 5kms). TRIP LEADER: Ali Ben Kahn

Thursday 18 June: Deep Creek Conservation Park (Stringybark Camp) (Moderate) (MLR) (lOOkm). Meet at the Stringybark camp area at 8.30am. The easiest way to get there is to travel along Main South Road to Myponga, then onto Normanville, Second Valley, past the Rapid Bay tum off, until you reach the little settlement of Delamere. Immediately after the store at Delamere, tum left. This sealed 14km road leads to Victor Harbor, but the unsealed roads to Deep Creek Conservation Park and the camping grounds are clearly marked.  TRIP LEADER: Lynton Huxley

Take the SE Freeway and leave it at the Stirling exit. At the roundabout, turn right to Longwood. Scott Creek Conservation Park (Difficult)  Meet at 8.30 am at the Almanda Mine Site car park area on Dorset Vale Road. ‘Anacotilla Springs’, Second Valley (Difficult)   

‘Anacotilla Springs’, Second Valley (Difficult)    Meet at 8:30 am . This is a private bushland property which enjoys the permanent flow of the Anacotilla River.  To get there take the Southern Expressway and Main South Road through Normanville towards Wirrina Cove Resort. Meet at the property gate which is on your left near a yellow 90 km sign, a gravel area and some cattle yards. (NOTE: If you reach the entrance into Wirrina Cove Resort, Paradise Drive, you have gone about 700 m too far!)  TRIP LEADER: Lynton Huxley 

AGM and General Meeting is now CANCELLED for 28th August.

Birds SA were planning to hold the Annual General Meeting and General Meeting for Friday 28th August is now unfortunately CANCELLED. Unfortunately the Covid 19 restrictions have not been lifted for larger number of attendees and the meeting cannot be held, as the number of "Public" who can attend the Waite Institute Theatre's is a lot less than the Uni students and we can only have 36 members attend, so the Committee has decided to cancel the AGM and General meeting until further notice.
