History:  Lake McIntyre is the site of a former council quarry in which a spring was disturbed. 

Habitat: The vegetation includes Drooping Sheoak (Allocasuarina verticillata) and  Coastal Wattle (Acacia longifolia ssp. sophorae).

Total Species Recorded to Date: 105 (non-passerines 71, passerines 34)

Common Species: Pacific Black Duck, Grey Teal, Chestnut Teal, Australian White Ibis, Dusky Moorhen, Eurasian Coot, Latham’s Snipe,  Black-faced Cuckooshrike

Less Common Species: Freckled Duck, Australian Painted Snipe, Common Bronzewing, Long-billed Corella, Eastern Rosella, Rufous Whistler
